  • Magnesium is an essential mineral involved in over 300 enzymatic

    processes in the body. It plays a key role in maintaining proper muscle function, nerve function, and mental health. Insufficient magnesium levels can contribute to conditions like insomnia, anxiety, and muscle tension.

  • Different formulations and dosing:

    Magnesium Citrate is inexpensive and easily absorbed. Since it also acts as a mild laxative, this may not be suitable for those with loose bowel movements.

    Magnesium Glycinate is one of the most bioavailable and absorbable forms and least likely to cause diarrhea.

    Magnesium L-Threonate increases the magnesium level in the brain and improves cognitive functioning.

    Magnesium citrate- 300 to 400 mg/day

    Magnesium glycinate or L-Threonate - 600mg/day in divided doses
